Daily Standard Operating Procedure for Audio Editor

Purpose

To ensure efficient and high-quality audio editing of audiobooks produced for authors, speakers, and coaches.

Daily Tasks

  1. Morning Briefing (9:00 AM - 9:30 AM)

    • Review daily goals and tasks with the team.
    • Discuss ongoing projects and deadlines.
  2. Audio Review (9:30 AM - 11:30 AM)

    • Listen to raw audio files submitted by authors or coaches.
    • Identify areas needing editing (e.g., background noise, awkward pauses, etc.).
  3. Editing Session (11:30 AM - 1:00 PM)

    • Start editing the identified sections of the audio.
    • Ensure clarity, consistency, and quality throughout the audio.
  4. Lunch Break (1:00 PM - 2:00 PM)

    • Take a break to refresh.
  5. Continued Editing (2:00 PM - 4:00 PM)

    • Finish edits on previous files.
    • Export edited files in the required formats (e.g., MP3, WAV).
  6. Quality Check (4:00 PM - 5:00 PM)

    • Conduct a final listen to the edited audio.
    • Make any last-minute adjustments if necessary.
  7. File Management (5:00 PM - 5:30 PM)

    • Organize and label all edited files in the project folder.
    • Upload final versions to the distribution platform or deliver to the client.
