Daily Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for Operations Manager
Objective:
To ensure optimal efficiency and effectiveness in the operations of the automobile service and sales business.
Daily Responsibilities:
Morning Briefing (8:00 AM - 8:30 AM)
- Conduct a daily team meeting to review goals, tasks, and address concerns.
- Align team expectations with company objectives.
Monitor Vehicle Flow (8:30 AM - 10:00 AM)
- Check in with service department staff to assess the current vehicle flow and identify any bottlenecks.
- Ensure that all vehicles are being processed efficiently.
Financial Oversight (10:00 AM - 12:00 PM)
- Review daily revenue reports and cash inflow/outflow.
- Address any discrepancies or issues with bookkeeping.
System Implementation (1:00 PM - 3:00 PM)
- Analyze current systems for tracking service labor hours versus billable hours.
- Implement improvements to existing systems based on analysis.
Employee Performance Monitoring (3:00 PM - 4:00 PM)
